I've used the Flycam 3000 with my 5D. Not the best model out there but it does the job for cheap.

Might work if you use a really small lens (like a 28mm 2.8 or something)

But i would just spend a little more and get a glidecam.

I got my glidecam 1000 pro on ebay for like $100 shipped.
