Flycam Nano and HMC40?

Dont want to waste my time rebalancing from my 5D mark ii settings, Anyone think it will work on a Flycam Nano? The DSLR series says that it can handle 4.4lbs.

First of all I don't know what you mean "waste time" rebalancing because if it is not roughly balanced at least, it won't function, period so you will be wasting time even trying to film with it. The balance of these two cameras is very different. You may be able to get away with not adding or removing weights. But you will still need to take at least 3-5 minutes to adjust.

Also, DONT GET A FLYCAM. I've wanted to sell mine ever since I got it and I am actually pretty good with it. It is cheap junk though, totally not worth it. Some things you can skimp on but for this you can't. Try a glide cam. The problem with the flycams is that you can spend 15 minutes adjusting balance and within 15 minutes of use it will have shifted to being completely unbalanced. If you put it down for a while and pick it up again you can forget about having it balanced. It is really annoying.

Well, My wife has the Steadicam Pilot vest and arm and she sold her sled. She is going to be getting the HD4000. I got this Nano yesterday and she wanted me to try to use it with her HMC40. THe flycam that they have now is actually pretty nice, The DSLR version.
