Florida Networking

Well, here we go, slowly but surely floridians find their way!

I'm a Cam Op from Miami. I shoot, DP & steadicam every now and then.

I own a DVX100a (with wide lens & macro lens), I have access to an HVX200 (which I can use the macro with as well...HD MACRO BABY!) with a 8GB card and a FS100.

I've also recently purchased a sexy Glidecam V16 which has kept me happy so far.

Also, two ARRI light kits, & a 4bank 4ft Kinoflo...

...just thought I'd say WHATUP!!? :-D

For a while, I was down in Miami shooting almost every weekend. Nice place to visit, but I really hated that drive, specially on the way back.

I bet...

How long ago where you down here? Or what projects were you shooting for?

Let's see, I'd say it was 3-4 years ago and I was shooting band performances in different clubs around there. Lumonics in Lauderdale, Wallflower Gallery and Como Hoy Ayer in Downtown. A lot of those were shot for Al Reyes and Batovision eProductions in Miami.

In tampa bayarea here. I have HVX200 and edit on GV Edius . Just saying hi. I work for a couple TV stations here and freelance. Working on a music video and beginning a low budget tv show out on the beach starting in May

We're based out of Tampa. Tons of HPX's, HVX's, DVX's, and Varicams around here as well as some GREAT dp's.

I freelance as well.

I'm located in Jacksonville.

Orlando/Titusville feature film

Orlando/Titusville feature film

I am in the process of producing a full length dvx film based here in the swamps about three young people who become hopelessly marooned because of poor directions, jealousies and illogical planning. Its a fun script with the focus on wit and camp, rather than mayhem. (Although I have made some full size alligator models for the latter.) No complicated, expensive scenes--just action and dialogue.

Will need local people with a lot more experience with these cameras than I have. You will get a kick out of my $20 "single track swamp camera stabilizer."

Hmmm...
Ocala, here. I've got my first "real" camera on the way; DVX100B. I've had this film idea for years and I finally have the money to buy a camera. Already got a small Panasonic PV-GS150, it even got 3 CCDs and a very decent picture. And I started collecting the little things you need in addition. I got a Manfrotto tripod and fluid head (501HDV), Azden wireless mikes, Azden shotgun mike, Zoom H2 audio recorder... I try to pick up stuff a little at a time. I also got an HV20. Nice picture. Very nice picture.
Now I need to learn editing. I got Premiere Elements 4.0 and "Classrom in a book", but I think I might have to step up to the Pro version.

Im located in Ocala as well! I am interested in anything to do with short films. Hit me up!

Have you ever seen that commercial for "Happy milk comes from Happy Cows"? What do Happy Hippies and Happy Cows have in common? Happy Grass :)

I'm located in Jacksonville, but I'll be moving down to Orlando in about three weeks for school. Just started getting all of my gear together. DVX100B and should be picking up an SGpro soon
