Flight Case for Sony Cinealta 6 lens Prime set

Anyone know of the smallest flight case that will fit the 6 lens Prime set? Preferably with wheels. I'm currently carrying around the lenses in a Kata VB-510 backpack. The backpack is nice for the lenses, but would prefer a flight case for more extensive travel. The cases made specifically for the lens set seem overly large.

Not sure a Peli 1510 would fit those lenses as they're quite beefy. They're each 114mm front (4.5") and probably a good 5-6" in length. Since you have them you can measure yourself. The 1510 interior dimensions are 19.75x11x7.6 (inches). That leaves very little room for foam protection around the lenses as well as between them. Also those lenses are quite heavy, about 4-5 pounds each. It's 25-30 pounds of lenses and then 12 pounds of case, not including the foam. 40-some pounds may mean that some airlines will not let you bring it as a carry-on, which then gets dangerous for your glass if you don't have proper padding.

If you don't ever plan to fly with them, then I would say that this case would work, either with a traditional divider system that you could layer up or with some heavy foam that you cut out yourself. But I would not feel comfortable shipping the glass in this case or putting it in a plane cargo hold as luggage. You just need something a bit bigger. When I spec a shipping case I like a minimum of two inches heavy foam around the edges and at least 1" (at bare minimum) between objects within the case. Rigid foam case get smaller, but lenses need some delicate protection, so then I would do 1" of rigid foam with a .5" layer of heavy foam within. It saves some size but is more expensive to make.
