Flight Case for 3' Cineslider?

Looking for a flight case for a 3' Cineslider. Kessler suggested not getting one that looked like a rifle case as they've been held up for hours in airport security when they did so.

Ideally the combined weight of the case, & contents, would remain below 50 lbs so as not to incur additional fees which can get quite steep when traveling with multiple cases.

I also have 2' Bloom, & though it usually just rides in my luggage, I could use a flight case for it too.

I've sent an email to Kessler on this subject, but wonder what owners are using.

Thanks,
Bern

There's a DIY flight case web site out there, google it if you can handle a saw and a pop-riveter. They have videos, parts, customer service - they even sell rolled formica-type stuff you can glue to locally-purchased plywood.

Thanks Gentleman.

I do have a few flight cases for golf clubs, but mostly use them for grip. I'm hoping to use Pelicans, but weight can quickly become an issue with those.

I'll also look into the DIY cases, but more likely for my computer monitor that needs to travel for photo gigs. Been meaning to ask Tenba for a custom solution, but it's not a priority.

Haven't heard back from Kessler yet, but will share when they respond.

Best,
Bern
