I think it looked nice.

Somethings I would suggest - cutting off that whole intro - I was about to turn it off since it took way too long to get to the movie.

The dialog was very flat.

I think it was a little long for what it was - and I think there is a lot of room to tighten up the edit.

Hope this helps

- remove the rain

- add more lightnings , specialy when we see lightningstrokes

- add maybe some electrical buzzes and stuff

- shorten the music a little or fade it out more abrubt

I can hear you've foleyed almost everything ? ... The steps aren't 100% in sync....

And you've done ADR.... But you've done ADR insite a "regular" room ? I hear some small reverbs and reflections of walls (which is normal for a room)
I think there was to much distance with to the mic. So the mic captures to much reflections.

- I miss sound of "turning body in sand/grass)

- the slap on the face....that one is recorded to close to the mic though... Or do some EQ, low cut untill... 500Hz or something
And you've hitted your face like in the scene ? Sometimes it's better to hit somewhere else (like palm of hand, arm...)

- "where is the shopper", the "opper" of "shopper" is falling a few frames after the mouth movement...
Well actualy whole the dialogues (ADR) are not 100% sync. But in a way it's normal because you know the text, you have seen it already many times so for you it's like "yeah, it's ok...."
But it's only a "yeah, well....I THINK it's ok"... But it's normal....that's why there are ADR record-people, ADR editing people, ADR mixing people...

- I hear they've recorded there voice at there own place ? The girl sounds very different from the boy for example... The boy was better (which is normal :-p)
Although the 2nd girl's ADR is not bad....

- sound of "holding the boy" around 03:56... wrong sound....As I said before, sometimes it's better to try different like it's done in the picture

You also forgot one very important thing... the "presence sounds"... It's the sound of movement of the clothes when you move. You won't notice them, because they're very quiet... But if they're not there (like here) there is something you miss... Now the characters are like "empty". With those "presence sounds", it gives more a "character" to the characters.

i liked this overall the sound was a bit off. The one younger kid was trying to hard to sound like a little kid and it comes off as unnatural.

I would drop some of the still picture scene transitions from day to night, the first few are ok, but they become a little tiresome after a while.

All in all good story and good execution. I liked the look of it, and most of the shots are pretty good.

Very well done for a hs project, hell even for a college project.
