flashlight in the dark?

Im tring to get that good scary film look of my actor carrying a flashlight down a dark hallway?

I'd suggest using haze or fog so that you can see the beam cut through the air.

rent a hazer from a local stage and lighting company. There is a big difference between a fogger and a hazer. A hazer is not simply diffused fogger. They can be rented fairly cheap. My favorite for film work are the ones made by Le Maitre
