flashband compression in the latest up date? 9.30 ?

i uploaded the 9.30 firmware update and see no difference in flashbanding, i looked for the sole flashband update on PASS but it wasnt there, and the 9.30 update said it had flashband improvements. did i do some thing wrong? the hpx said the firmware was a success and i jumped up to 9.30 in diagnostics menu........... I had my hardrive facing the wall and the blue light was reflecting off it,on and off, and just so happend to have my hpx facing the wall while it was on and what i saw in the veiw finder made me pissed.im going to upload the footage,its bs. if any one has any info let me know

It has to be turned on in menu and possibly assigned to one of the programmable buttons. Furthermore, if I'm not mistaken, it only works in 720 but haven't had occasion to use it yet... and the 720 limitation could be a misstatement.
