Mine was the fifth one of these sold, as denoted by the serial number etched into the housing (this one pre-dates the logo patch that is affixed to all current lenses). Here were the specs for the order:
- Matte Black finish
- Fixed f/5.6 Oval (2x) Aperture
- No Color Tint
- Low Contrast
- Low Cleaning Marks
- No Glow
- EF Mount
- Accepts 52mm filters
It’s great for capturing a “vintage”, anamorphic-like look (complete with oval bokeh) without the hassle of an anamorphic lens. I had a lot of fun with it. Here’s a sample of this very lens in action: https://vimeo.com/63142271
It had an AF-confirm chip on the rear of the lens, but it was making my camera go crazy, so I removed it. Now it just operates like a standard, manual lens.
I’ll leave the focus gear on, and I will include the front and rear (third party) lens caps.
$180, shipped anywhere in the CONUS.
