Fixed Trailer

Re: Fixed Trailer

Beautiful footage man. Did all that fog juice not clog your heads? Great lighting. Any tips you could share with the board on cam settings / lighting setup?

on the other side, not sure if you did the edit, etc, but it was a bit tough to tell the premise/story of the piece (being there's no dialogue, etc). I'm assuming some kind of nuclear winter?

Re: Fixed Trailer

It looked cool to me man. I wanted to know what it was about. And the ending was very cool.

I think it was great.

Re: Fixed Trailer

Do you have any higher-res clips or grabs so we can see the details of your shot?

Re: Fixed Trailer

Cool Idea, Kinda reminds me of 28 days later with the music, I mean not zombies but some kinda of tragedy happens and results in every one having to wear gas masks when they go out...

But if its a nuclear winter I dont think gas masks would protect u cause radiation would kill you weather you wear a gas mask or not.

Ne ways looks pretty professional.. Like to see more.

Re: Fixed Trailer

I will get some stills up in a few. I used a few different lights for many of the scenes. I used a mole 2k, a few arri 150, and some lowel soft boxes. Thanks for your feedback.

Re: Fixed Trailer

by the way it takes place after a bio attack and it shows the way the boy has to cope with this reality. This is just a rough trailer. I have not put the text in yet.

Re: Fixed Trailer

Impressive. I need to see it now. Especially if its about bioattacks and the like...

Def tell us all! The lighting, coloring, comps were great.

The trailer was very tight. Professional in nature.

Re: Fixed Trailer

I just finished post on this movie about a week ago. It was all shot with the dvx100 and a basic lighting kit. The dolly moves were achieved with a homemade dolly. I am 16 and had some of my friends that are into theater, light all of the locations. We shot many of the scenes close to sundown to get most of the saturated colors. I mostly shot it with the ped around -6 to crush the blacks a little and give the image a more defined look. Other than that I just tweaked the chroma here and there. In post I did a great deal of color correction and image manipulation that helped created the overall look of the short.

Re: Fixed Trailer

What techniques did you do post-wise to get the color theme? After effects color tweaks? Magic Bullet? FCP Color Corrector, etc?

Re: Fixed Trailer

Ah . . . to be 16 and have all this incredible technology available. I'm *profoundly* jealous . . .

:P :P
