Fishitar - interesting slomo effects and pushing 720 60p limits

I was just toying around seeing how I could push the 720 60p mode on the original unhacked GH1 with the intent of making a small tiny tank of fish look like a bigger deal with an ocean feel. There is also lots and lots of detail with light beams, particles floating around, bubbles, lots of rocks, colors, fish, plants.. ect..

It was shot 720 60p and slowed down to 24p then all the sound added to give everything a bigger heavier feel. I showed a few non film people and none of them new it was slowmo footage they thought those are the fish moving in real time in a big tank.

It looks ok on a 720p monitor but blech on 1080p you can see the codec breaking up. Full screen it and turn the sound way up!

I am happy to report that after the tester13 hack at 'c' settings, I have been shooting this again and it is an AMAZING difference like night and day with no blockies whatsoever. I will post a hack version of this when it's done.. I'm doing some more editing and doing some voice overs for the fish and actually making a little sketch out of it.

Just thought some of you would find this fun... you really would laugh if I pulled back and showed how tiny this tank is and how little the fish are if I recorded at normal speed. They move so fast that at slow mo it doesn't look like slo mo.
