fisheye question

I am new to the dvx and have been looking around at fisheyes. Anything you guys would recommend? Is it possible to have a wide lens with no vignette? I was looking at the .3 century optics, and then the optika seems to make the same type of lens except cheaper. the vignette is pretty apparent on these lenses. any info would be cool thanks alot

Yeah, I have the century optics "ultra fisheye adapter," which is wide, and has no vignette.

I have the ultra fisheye .3X too. Very very little vignette in squeeze mode and just a bit in $:3 but it looks alright. I would only recommend it for extreme sport videography. Everything else can just have a wide angle lens with less barrel distortion.

yeah im using it for snowboarding. so i should go with like a century op .3 72mm with that super wide adaptor? How does that thing look when it is in norm? thanks alot guys

Well it's actually bayonet mount custom for the DVX but it looks good in normal too. Just a little bit vignette in the corners but everyone has that lens so it's fine.
