Used slog 3 for the first time yesterday, I've been sticking to slog2 and the cine gammas typically.
Knocked together a quick reel of some handheld shots (was walking all day so no tripod or monopod) and did some amateuresque grading on them just testing out different features. The shots weren't particularly interesting and I haven't produced a work of art

Things I learnt:
Clear zoom and centre scan are great but not together.
Viltrox booster works but does let in light leaks and softens footage (maybe good or bad). My metabones is better - viltrox will stay on the a7rii which doesn't mind being softened a bit.
Slog3 is hard to expose without a waveform but not impossible.
10bit hd is so much better to grade than my a7rii slog2 and fs5 4K but it is a lot softer.
Purple splodges in slow mo is a pain....
Any comments and thoughts on my findings fire away please.
