First Time using DVX grabs

Been workin on editing a music video, just doing some post work on it thought I'd give you all a peek. What an awesome mini dv camera. A few problems, wish I had grown accostomed to a bit more before I got it in my hands and started shooting but hey, I try.

Looks good I think the first one is kind of dark if you would have shot it with more light I think the effect would look alot better. I really like the second one alot.

Yah i see what you're saying, still experimenting with looks. Lighting can make all the difference. For the indoor scene I was using 1 60 watt fill (it's got this really cool clamp, so I just hooked it onto a drawer near the sink, and bam!) also had 2 500 watt worklights bounced off the cieling, and the lights by the mirror helped seperate her from the backround, really liked that setup.

I like that second one. That first one is definitely a little too dark in the shadows.
