Hey everybody,
I'll be "gaffing" for a shoot this week that will be shot with the HVX. I personally have had very little hands on with the camera and as such not familiar with any of the idiosyncrasies it may have concerning lighting. Does anybody have some insight they may share that they learned that is worthy of being aware of before going into this shoot? I know they tend to eat a bit more light than others and I read about one of the cine settings having some funky color shift when the iris is on the open side.
As far as the shoot goes what I know now is that its a music video, high contrast is my understanding, the blacks will be very black and the fall off will be fast. I don't know if they are shooting 720P, but I would assume so. Also its a two camera shoot. Not a whole lot else, other than there may or may not be a green screen shot.
Thanks for any feedback!
