First Time lapse with DVX100B

yeah, just curious about the methods of time lapse shooting. If I understand correctly this is basically the only method the dvx100b can do time lapse.
I didn't set a shutter speed, but I did shoot in 24p. I sped the footage up 15000%. Is there anything I can do to make the image look better in regards to settings and speeding it up?
I know there is a conversion explanation for getting bettter quality from the DVX in Barry Greens book, but it doesn't cover this really.
