First Time Clip Poster

Hello all-

I just edited a 7 minute piece I filmed at my sisters wedding. I'd really love and appreciate some experienced eyes to take a look at it to give me some feedback. However, I've never posted a clip before. Does anyone have any posting tips? Sites that I can go to to host this? I haven't a clue where to start.

find a free host and upload it to their site then post a link to the file in your thread here.

do a search on this site for free hosts and you should easily find a handful.
 
Just curious-

Whats the best codec to compress my file? Right now the clip I want to post is 7 minutes long and is about 1.5 gigabytes. I need to get it down to roughly 11-20MB for a site to host it. Or, how can I post a link so people can just right click on it and save? Either or works for me.

try using windows media 9 compression...that works pretty well and you can customize it to make it fit your needs. I use vegas and it is an option when you go to render as....

I don't know much about quicktime compression tho sorry :(
