First test with the DVX100

[ChrisHurn]

Hi!

I just got a DVX100 and this is my first day testing it out. Being a broke student this is an exciting time for me...LOL

So much to play with! I am so excited to finally have this camera...up until a few days ago all I had was a tiny 1ccd sony handycam, so this is excellent. I'll probably get an adaptor for it at some point as I have some lenses.

Anyway, let me know what you think! Just some shooting around my house.

EDIT: Sorry about the quality, still trying to get the settings right.

Looks really nice man. the opening shot looks like a film

I really liked this...seems so natural. U certainly seem to have an eye for this. Loved the silloutte shots...guitar shots with the lens flares and the close ups of ur family talking. Ur family certainly has striking resemblance.
I'll go watch this again.

edit: btw the guy playin the guitar (assuming its ur brother) really has an unscreen type of face...looks like a star already.

Hey thanks I appreciate that!

My brother likes acting, he's done a bit of TV stuff here and there, there isn't much work around in New Zealand, so I'm stealing him for my short films instead!
