Tonight was the first show for my new band. It was awesome!
We crammed 70 people into a room that was 24 feet long and 20 feet wide..shut the doors to the basement and cranked up our amps to make people in China hear us play. We played with 5 other bands, and it the enviornment was worse than a sauna on full heat. Crowded, filled with smoke from the stupid people who smoked in the back. It was just insane. I had the chance to finally unleash the power of my new Marshall half stack, 120 watts with my LP. Put it up to full blast and at the end of the night, you couldnt hear anything but a ring.
Perhaps some of you guys on here have had similar experiences back in the day...we had all kinds of bands play too..punk, speed metal, grunge, general rock, screamo, hardcore.
We werent able to move anywhere, and when people created mosh pits, it was just horrible..but in a good way..
