First short with HVX "Wi-By"

Well done. I thought of this concept a long time ago, but you've executed it a little better than I would've. The long shot of the car on the street is very cool.
 
Fantastic! So did you get the cops to block a road or did they come to inspect your attempted wi-by? Very nice execution - nice voiceover too.

can you talk a little about what filters you use and what tones you push in the blacks mids and whites?

Just wanted to answer a couple questions:

jdajda: yeah, I did get the cops to block the street for me, it was pretty cool to control a street for a couple hours!

Jack: Thanks, I got some clues as to how to do that from this board. I used a polarizing filter on the stock lens on set. In post I used Magic Bullet a filter called Miami, and tweaked it. On some shots I went in and pushed the mid levels up before applying the filter. I also played a bit with the lens feature in Magic Bullet to soften and bloom the whites just a bit to hopefully give a little more filmic look. I was very happy with how the colors turned out.
