Hey Guys and Gals,
So we just finished our first shoot using the RedRock adapter.
We had a 28mm, a 35mm, a 50mm and a 105mm lens.
Though I do believe we only ended up using the 50mm and the 105mm because we ended up not having a enough lights to light up all the scenery that was seen with the 28mm and the 50mm was our fastest lens (f1.4).
I definitely learned a lot for the next shoot.
Like the fact that using the 105mm really makes your BG seem much closer to your subject. I can see where that would look cool, but in this instance it turned out looking a bit distracting.
And that we would have probably ended up with a sharper image if we had a HD monitor to focus with.
Also, we need to get more lights, because MY GOD does that adapter and lenses just suck up light.
But all and all I like the look much better than if we would have just shot with a bare bones HVX200.
But I just wanted to show you guys some stills for now and see what you think.
Any advice would be more than welcomed!
Thanks!!
