First Shoot With DVX. Music Video...

I don't like screamo, they play well though...
I just don't get why all the performance-only vids from from metalish-emo or metallcore bands have to be in some basement/vacant building/ industry loft type surrounding... Uniform Choice wordplay?
the camera tremors looked too fake for me, I know what you wanted to do, but for me they don`t sell...
Don't want to put you down, considering the time and no budget - well done!
 
With all due respect. It looks ok. But... I cant tell you how many music videos Ive seen on this site that are mostly loud punk or rock bands on the top of a building or in a warehouse playing with instruments. check out www.markromanek.com he's pretty good with the music videos and what not

But you really know how to take some...er... sub-par music


And direct a nice vid. Kudos, my man!

Now, the downside... actually, not too shabby (Except for the obvious dub of the studio cut over some showboat footage [i.e., they looked too lip-snychy].

Thought the video was good, but as already stated, another choice in location will surely set it apart... I'd do it in a library full of people, or another place where things are generally quiet. juz my opinion.

The video: The video in itself looks pretty good espcecially with the time constraints. Not bad at all. If those were indeed work lights, they meshed well with the atmosphere you were filming.

The music: If I had a quarter every time I've seen a panzy ass yeast infected emo dickhead, I'd already have the HVX on pre-order. I'm so goddamn sick of this trendy wave of horse ****. I'd rather have termites eat my ass off then listen to this ****. I also feel like although you did a pretty good job on making the video "look" good, you kinda fell into the whole trendy, overplayed method of making a video for a couple of music-industry robots. The desolate room obviously a direct reflection on their "feelings" and "emotions". I hate to rant, but every other day there is a new post "FIRST VIDEO!!" and it's a buncha sobbing asslickers screaming then singing softly, then screaming, then crying, then convulsing, while doing backflips----------->All because their chick left....Or their dog died......Or life is SOOOOO hard........I say go ****in kill yourselves already, don't make me want to kill myself cause I have to listen to this monkey ****. Nice job.

Hahahahahahahahaha i`m sorry about the band work is work.

Yes i did use 2 work lights for accents and tell you the truth i love them.

If you can im still not getting an idea on how you guys feel please rate by 5 stars obviouslly 5 being the best.
And any suggestions on what i could of done better other then location or music.
