First Shoot this Monday

So I am going to shoot my first piece of footage this Monday. I am Excited, Anxious and Scared. I just got my DVX last week and I am shooting a friends band at a live show. I am scared that I might screw it up and I want to provide a quality shoot for my friend. He knows that I am new and is not expecting much. Does anyone have any pointers and advice on Audio, Scene Files, Lighting and any information that I might find useful. I will be shooting the band backstage before and after the show and then I will shoot the band live, it will be at an indoor venue. Thanks in advance for any help that you can provide to this novice.

Audio: See if you cant get a recorded version from the sound guy.

Go to the venue speak to them about lighting and if possible do a test shoot. I find shooting low light at 30p is a good choice.
