First SG Pro footage.

I finally got to test out my new SG Pro r2.
I went home to shoot a short film but that fell through so i recorded a friend's band recording an album. I was pretty much just walking around trying not to bump into mics. The music is just temp, it's not theirs.

shot with Nikon 35mm 1.4, 50mm 1.4, and 85mm 1.8 all wide open, with a 210° shutter. All light was from the three windows seen, and one lowel omni was placed in the singer's booth. I had no gels :(

I need to practice getting better focus but i'm still pleased with the results. There has been no color correction on these clips.
go to the sgpro test footage.

My pleasure Wayne!

I had such a hard time getting everything together and working (not because of the design, i think i'm just clumsy with things) that when i finally got to see footage from it i was truely blown away. I was expecting much more lightloss and it was very easy to get nice sharp images.

I don't think the link is working now, I tried both saving to computer and also by just clicking it. I wanna see...:)

Link not working. I was able to see something from your site though.

. . . I have to trick my website to upload videos more than 8mb. It failed more than once. I need to simplify this stuff . . .

How did you "trick" your website to upload the file? I think I may need to do the same. Ugh.

FYI - I use vDeck to access my web host.

I upload a video with the same filename but much smaller than 8 mb and then i replace the file in a ftp transfer.

if you're still having trouble i could host it for you later today.

Thanks, Matty. I'm gonna see what I can do on my end first.

D, we've got an FTP site (check cinevate owner's forum) and free bandwidth if you want it. There's no size limit...in fact we prefer HQ encodes.

Great looking stuff Matty. I can't believe this is available light.

I'm pretty much sold on the SGPro Rev2 unless Brevis' new one blows it out of the water.

Thanks Jeremy.
I was pretty shocked i could get enough light in the room. I just walked around and opened up the three windows and BAM.

Also, let me know about sunday man.

To tell you the truth, at this point, it comed down to preference of form factor. Neither one is gonna blow antyhting out of the water. not anymore..... They are both Increadible adapters. I just happen to like the way the Sg renders the light. looks most beautiful to me. ;)
