<I edited this post so the link would be at the top. The original 14MB link is thankfully gone and in its place: the 3MB link below. Enjoy & don't eat Chinese food while watching.>

Allrighty then...  Try this link.

For some reason the iMovie templates don't display the movie in its full size, but it's not that much bigger anyway.  Just a little easier to read the titles.

If you have some speakers with low-end also it helps.

Thanks,
Chico

Jared

I went to dowload this but it took forever and a day and I lost my patience. I'd like too. :-/

Re: First posted footage..

Yeah, I watched 3 other 10 minute films at Triggerstreet; came back and nothing...

Re: First posted footage..

Yeah, it has something to do with yahoo briefcase. I'm not really familiar with that service, I just set it up today.

It was going really slow earlier today when I first uploaded and I just tried it and got the same response as y'all.

I'll have to get some alternate space and let you guys know.

Thanks for trying, talk atcha soon.

Re: First posted footage..

PS - I discovered Compressor in the meantime as well. So now you don't get a low quality 14MB movie, you get a higher quality 3MB file. Amazing...

Adios,
Chico

Re: First posted footage..

He heh... with the music and titles you made me want to see more. I was like "destruction? carnage?". And, I really felt for the main character Tootsie.

What nle did you use for the titles and stuff?

Re: First posted footage..

..man that sucks. not your work..the fact that the dog did that to the spa.. that just bites. but i thought it was good otherwise. put a smile on my face. hey, keep it comin'

Re: First posted footage..

Good stuff. Great shooting and editing.

My guess is that you used FCP for the editing, LiveType for the titles and Soundtrack for the music.

Good storytelling and use of quick edits.

Keep making movies!

Re: First posted footage..

It was indeed FCP, LiveType and Soundtrack. Sorry for no 'action' footage. I wasn't really planning on editing this footage, I was just out there playing with the camera. Then loser asked me if I was gonna shoot footage of a cat coughing up some pantyhose, and a little light came on...

As for the spa... we were thinking about getting rid of it anyway. So now it's just a matter of re-foaming and patching the wood. <sigh> which means less time to shoot...

Re: First posted footage..

Very very odd... hmm...

Like the titles... should probably try out live type and such with FCP... looks like it could be fun to play around with...

Re: First posted footage..

I loved the titles. It makes me mad that my Mac doesn't have AGP graphics and I can't upgrade my FCP to version 4.
