Thanks for letting me participate in the contest. Everyone's entries look good and I wish everyone good luck on the voting.


My entry was designed and rendered in Maya, with composite work done in Shake. The overall look took me a week or so to nail down, with inspiration from a few different sources.

...and probably a first place. You got my vote anyways. Kind of reminded me of the Doom3 corridor walking type of thing. Nice job. Good luck.

Welcome to dvxuser Rob! Really great entry. I'm a huge SW fan so, of course, I thought Death Star. The detail in the trench with the arms, rotators, pipes and stuff was a great touch. Got my vote too!

Thank you for your kind words. I hope everyone is as accepting of the design as you all have been.

My original design was for the interior of a computer, but looking at the preliminary models that did not work out, and yes, there are influences of both FPS games and SW in the final product. A little bit of Alien thrown in for atmosphere, a little DOOM, and some SW tech, and I was happy with the end result.
