MUSIC VIDEO: First Music Video

I like the rawness of it, the take with the band members of silhouettes is good, only issue is it looks like you are zoomed in and get more pronounced camera shake for some shots, it looks like a handy cam look rather than an SLR. You've also falling into the trap of using a couple of post overlays, burned film type effects (or whatever they're called), they're a pet hate of mine. :undecided Thankfully though you didn't get carried away with those effects like many do.
 
i can understand that haha, they certainly weren't done on purpose, light tends to leak into the camera during some takes. the camera shake was purposefully done, mostly because it fits the aesthetic of the type of videos i was inspired by and contributes to the feeling of a crescendo of chaos.
 
Great video. Love it. I detect a bit of a Wake in Fright influence perhaps along with nineties videos of course. Look forward to seeing more work from you.

Thanks so much! Yeah, Wake in Fright was a massive influence, as you can see, i didn't try to hide that and instead decided to embrace it haha. I tried to incorporate my own narrative themes of the beer culture causing an apocalypse of sorts to give it a bit of a unique angle.
 
P.S. It was good to hear a band using a 60's sound, simply because you don't tend to come across such obvious 60's inspiration these days.
