First music video with D7100 brutal critism needed

Long credits at the beginning, then somebody else's material, then I closed the tab.

I make my videos for people that do NOT want to see them, they'll just barely tolerate them till they know they actually like them. My longest intro is 24s long and I think it was a mistake, there must be something that grabs the audience in the first 10 seconds, otherwise they're gone.

Agree with Samuel H. Your intro was really long. The graphic elements lacked the quality needed to accomplish any purpose in my opinion. ( so it may be better to leave them out )

When I first started watching you're video I was like, "Why am I watching King of New York"

Using others material is never a good idea, unless it's been cleared, and serves a recognizable purpose. You could have had the guys watching King of New York, instead of the footbal game, maybe then it would have made sense.

The vignetting filter makes most things look amateur.

Work on the quality of you're presentation.

Good Luck, I'm learning the craft also... Just another opinion.

Agree with the others. Useless opening sequence, look at how other music video's are credited, they are small and brief. If you wanted to start with film footage and have it cleared at least show it on a TV not clean.

Learn and use wides, mediums, and closeups. Learn rule of thirds and framing.

Do not shoot wide open unless you have a dedicated focus puller and a purpose for it. Stop down your lens. Out of focus close ups = does not know what he is doing.

Get accurate white balance.

Grade is way over the top. Cheap 90s film blow out effect is not creative and cheap. Filters are not in and of themselves interesting. If I can see the edge of the vignette it is to heavy.

Add another location to the video.
