First Music Video shot on GH2

This is my first music video ever, just got into doing Video... im a hip hop producer full time. So please go easy on me! haha. Anyway, learned alot about shooting video and made some mistakes, but here is some GH2 footage. Sold my 7D as soon as I saw my friends GH2 2 months back. Got the GH2 about 2 weeks ago. The unlimited recording time, flip screen, histogram, touchscreen, etc. are all great. And with the pancake 20mm 1.7 this thing is so light and doesn't draw attention, which is why I love it. Nicely done! You did a really nice job, first video or not. I didn't see anything in the way of a mistake-- the only thing I would say is consider getting someone to do light makeup on talent so that blemishes don't show up.

Here's one thing you might try, if it fits your style. I noticed that when you shot the 720p60 and conformed it to the 24 for slow motion, that she was singing the lyrics near that part of the song, but of course it didn't match up because it was slow motion. It takes a little pre-planning, but take the song and speed it up by 2.5 times (60 frames per sec divided by 24 frames per second = 2.5) in an audio editor, then play the 2.5x times faster song while shooting in 60 frames/sec and get the person to lip sync to the song (at 2.5x speed). Then when you take that into the video editor and conform it to the 24p timeline, it will still have the same slow motion look to it, BUT she'll be singing in sync with the music. It has a cool visual effect. Anyone know what the name for this is called??

There's a few examples in this video. It's something I worked on as a PA/ grip. 2:40 is the best example on the second "so fast". It was a last minute idea, so we didn't have it already set up, which means the sync wasn't perfect (we just kind of "winged" the speed). Plus, they had a new version of the song for the final edit than we had during production. But it gives you an idea of what I'm talking about.

Thanks. Got a great response from some local artists up here. Acutally got another video shoot next weekend. Had a grip of people contact me to do work, excited to do some more. Ill try that technique when I get the chance! Thanks again for the feedback
