Maybe there's allready one in production but who will star in a lifeaction and non heavy CGI comedy .... one with a story ala Something about Marry but in 3d. Or maybe a drama ...think Million dollar baby in 3d.

My point is if there's one to make is that I really can not see or experience the added value of Stereoscopic 3d images.

Well, that is because most likely you have never experienced realistic immersion in stereoscopic scene that was not distorted.

Here is the real life example made with camera that had stereo window set to 22 inch and 40 deg FOV.

You should have no problem viewing it if you relax your eyes.
It should be viewed on 22 in 16:9 monitor.

And here is the same scene but distorted, miniaturized by misplaced 3D volume.
You can just grub the rider with your hand as she is no taller the your 22 inch screen. Notice the 3D volume is only few inches deep.

You will not see realistic immersion at you movie theater because
all S3D production end-up distorted.

We are testing some 3D options for a film to be shot in Sept. A lot of math involved to get it right.

Yeah, it's not something you can just pick up and do.

If people are averse to thorough pre-production now, it's really going to bite them when they try to make something in 3D.
