Re: First grabs!

pretty good grabs, I think you can get an ounce more color out of the camera. Also I think its just a tad to busy. Try using some depth + interesting composition

Re: First grabs!

Hey the cactus is cool...I'm gonna download it...print it on my car, and go duck hunting... ;) Just kidding, as soon as I saw the cactus I thought ..."those are military cactus" The colors shout it. I actually love the colors in that second tree post...Whew, nice :)

Re: First grabs!

The cactus has good lightin, but there's nothing in it to give contrast. You know, something red, like a flower or berry. It's all the same color green. Maybe if you boost the darks or something. The tree shot is wild. That's a cool looking tree. Nice!

Re: First grabs!

Thanks alot guys. It's wierd...The tree actually looked ALOT better through the lens of the camera than it did in Real life. I took my eye out of the eye cup and said, "****, that tree looks a whole lot better". Had the ND at 1/64 on all of em'. Tim

Re: First grabs!

Yup, I had a bit of trouble on my first post too, no biggy.

Nice grabs. Cactus is best, but where are the thorns? Do they fall off this time of year or what?

Re: First grabs!

Yea, I don't think these ever really get too many...Just those VERY VERY tiny ones that stick in your skin and take weeks to come out...Believe me I know.

Re: First grabs!

I put some Indiana thorns in my "some woodsy grabs" post. These nasty things stay on all winter.
