nice first shots. they do seem a bit soft though...but other than that they have nice compositions and dof.

DOF is great. I like the stark contrast between the yellow of the petals and the green of the leaves. Obviously you had nothing to do with the latter of the two, still nice though.

The third one is my favorite. I just got my camera too, and I've had a hard time getting my Yellows to come out even half that well.

I wish I could get that close to a duck. They all seem to run away when I come near. Maybe because I tried to film the wild ones (not the scrounging park ones.) ;D

I think the trick is the park ones, if you take some bread theyll get right up next to you, I got some really close shots that way. thanks for the feedback, although I feel rather dishonest posting here as the footage is from a Canon GL-2, but there is nowhere for GL-2 users (that i know of) to post their work and have it loooked at, and i really love this place and wish i could afford a DVX, but thank you for the kind words.
