Hey cool info. I've been wanting to look into getting my own website.

Re: First Editing project

Well, you also have to look at uptime and support and such.

I've never been down (that I know of) since 1999, except for scheduled upgrades and maintenance. And Pair's support is excellent...from the company and the users in their forums.

What I need 100 email addresses for, I don't know. I think I've got 6 configued. ;D

Re: First Editing project

Check this one out: It's got Unlimited traffic allowed. Dcervenka showed it to me..Anyone use this one?

Re: First Editing project

Thanks for the Compression advice Cervenka! I did it and a newly compressed 4MB file will be available tommorow! (used up all my bandwith today already). I also checked out your page Cervenka. Nice stuff man! I got a good friend who wants me to do alot of his wakeskating stuff out in Havasu. Any tips?

Re: First Editing project

Disjecta knows whatta he's SAYING.

Powweb now offers 5 gigs a day. That's who I've got...a tip for getting hosts: research 'em...Most places boast their client list, and if so, you can usually do a content search and find out how many other people use the site for multimedia.

Re: First Editing project

Ok... it's "today" or "tomorrow" depending on how you look at it.... I'm still getting the "The system cannot find the file specified. " error message...? when trying to access the link.

Cool, I'm glad you got it compressed and thanks for the comp on the site, but I'm in the process of TOTALLY redoing it as that was just a temporary site.

Wake skating, very cool. shoot me a pm and I'll give you some tips.

Re: First Editing project

Slimothy,

Looks like a lot of fun...I loved the superman shots and the slow motion. I wished there were more crashes. Also, why did you cut to the dancer? It seemed to break up the flow for no reason.

I know its rough...but looks like its heading somewhere great!

Good work

Re: First Editing project

Thanks alot for viewing and commenting! I cut to the dancers because I had VERY limited usable footage. Also, when Scummy does that long wheelie and crashes, it breaks up the flow too soon. This is just a rough thing to show the guy what is possible for his video. That crash was gnarly huh. He broke his shoulder on that. It was also the only crash I had. Thanks again for checking it out! ;D Tim.
