This is my first episode using the Af100. I used the Lumix 14-140 and the Lumix 7-14 for all the run and gun stuff. For the interviews I went with some manual Canon Primes.
Before this I used an HVX200.
My thoughts on the AF100? The AF100 tends to blow out a bit quicker than the HVX200, which always seemed to have some detail left in blown out skies, etc. Also the AF100 AutoFocus just doesn't seem as intuitive as the HVX200 AutoFocus which stayed put a bit more. The button placement on the AF100 is just bad. The fact that there is no physical knob for the scene settings makes getting the right look harder.
All that being said, the image quality for the price is incredible and blows away the HVX200. Also, Compact Flash Cards are so much more convenient that PS cards. My two 32g cards let me shoot at 1080/24P for six and a half hours. That's incredible!
