I wanted to post a documentary that two friends and I did in the fall. It was for a class and as a result had a 12 minute time limit but we are thinking of expanding it as we have tons more footage. So, it is temporarily finished but who knows. In either case I would love some feedback on this. It was made by three people, shot over two months and edited in about one. We are all full time students and this was a first documentary for all of us. It is about lane splitting and Southern California motorcycle culture.

Thanks,
Bobby

Nice job, Bobby. Very compelling and held my interest... I grew up on Long Island and lane splitting happens a lot on the L.I.E.! To me it's a form of Russian Roulette, but I guess these guys are adrenaline junkies... The premise might be a bit limited for a feature, but the short is really awesome!

I really liked your documentary. Instead of expanding it longer I would actually suggest tightening it up and using your extra footage to drive the story more. As it is now you have the introduction of what lane-splitting is, some testimonials of why they do it and then the most compelling story of Eddie. Good flow, but maybe get to Eddies story quicker, it is the most interesting. Also, I felt like you could have used more b-roll and let the shots you did use play out longer and also sit on top of some of the interview audio. Good luck with this and good job.
