first demo reel

any comments appreciated. I want to know if there is anything i could do to make it better. Anything to remove? make it longer? shorter?

Holy ****. You like Tycho. What are the odds? Well A) Props on the song. Amazing choice. I love the slightly shaky moving feel, it also compliments the song. It's not too long either.

Basically, if you lived in Connecticut, I'd hire you for my projects.

Who did the music for your reel? Keep up the good work. Also, that is a standard DVX? No adapter or anything? Also, what programs did you edit your footage with?

Really nice images, like the mood. I didn't think it was too long, but that is my subjective meaning since I was enjoying it. And you may have one of the coolest
names in the world, Mr. Connor Hair. If I ever become an american(or canadian) I'm stealing it for sure :)
 
Thats cool, I enjoyed it! How do you guys go about getting this music in your reel? Do you contact the band and ask if you can use it? I was just wondering this, because I am going to start working on mine, and I really like Tim Hecker (similar to Tycho, but ALOT more distorted and noisey), and would love to use his stuff.

thats all standard dvx just zoomed in on a few to get that depth of field. I edited and color corrected with final cut pro.

I didn't ask the artist it use the music but now that I'm thinking about it I probably should since I own a company and would be getting clients based off the quality of my reel. I'm going to take the link down for a bit until I email tycho and get their permission. Most artists are fine with you using their music but may sometimes ask for you to state the music title in your video. That way you help them and they help you.
