Did my first day of my video shoot today and it was HORRIBLE. I'm so out of practice. My lights were so strong my power went out. Thus, I had to lose like 3 lights. It was crazy. And my stupid self decided to plan this thing alone. Never again!! But I'm learning. : )

every production teaches us something. even when we are sure that we know everything and have every base covered, i feel confident in suggesting that some aspect of the gig will change and there will so be a lesson learned.

over the years, i've come to look forward to that lesson. knowing there is a lesson out there with my name on it always me to feel confident when that situation does arise. once solved/dealt with, you are then free to look forward to the next lesson.

ymmv

be well

Working alone is tough. You get so caught up trying to do everything that you tend to forget one or two things.

I tend to work alone when it comes to the planning and producing of my projects and I always seem to a have an "oh crap, I forgot the *insert crucial item here*" moment. It is good practice and one day when you have the help you need, you will be that much better off.
