First couple AE Projects

First couple After Effects projects. I've used Motion with Final Cut fairly extensively, so I'm not coming in completely blind. Been watching Video Copilot Tutorials like an addict :grin:

Was hoping to get some feedback on these first projects!

Started and finished yesterday. Most art work from our design department at the church. Under deadline on this one and finished it in a 10-12 hour or so work day.

Took a couple days to figure this one out. Took some studying of South Park animation and trial and error on piecing the character together to work and move well. I think it turned out well, though I figured out later an easier way to do the walking movement. Wish I knew expressions well, because I'm sure that could've cut down the amount of work time on this one. Will be animating more potential shorts in the coming weeks.

Again custom design work in Illustrator from our design team at the church.

The first one is great, but the red logo is too harsh, with the shade of gray on top, it sort of looks like a negative of a picture.
Your text is 3d ish, so why not the logo?
The second one could be a bit smoother and faster, but it is still a very good job.

How would I go about making a flat logo from the design team 3D, other than shadowing?
