so i had a video shoot yesterday and my bag got banged around a little and today when I went to take some headshots, the whole shot was a tiny bit blurry but outside the center it gets very blurry even at f11 and it doesn't look like your normal bokeh. whatever is in focus also has a weird trail or double vision looking look to it.

So i tried my 85mm 1.8 and its still tack sharp so I am assuming my camera is fine and its the lens. I see no damage anywhere and it still focuses like its working so i'm not sure what the issue is.

Since i have no warranty is there a lens repair shop i can try to send it to? Does anyone buy lenses that are kind of broken like this? Anything that might be ruining the image i could check?

Since there is no location on your profile give us a clue where you are... maybe to the nearest continent if not country?

does it work for tamron lenses? my local shops said they dont repair tamron, sony, sigma...

They also said it must be the VC vibration control which would be very expensive to fix. any thoughts?

i bought this on ebay and tamron says they need proof of where the lens was sold and that it is not grey market. Is there a way to find out if it is grey market or somewhere else I can get it fixed?
