The box shot shows it's the real deal. Gee the Kiwis are further away than us. Most Oz dealers will b e shutting tomorrow so not much hope here.

Seriously though, the impertinence of Australian retailers who don't pass on the AUD $$$ goodness.....
Today the AUD EXCEEDED the USD, so WTF is up with prices here?
Gear should be getting CHEAPER, instead it is hovering at 1st quarter financial year 2011 prices..... seriously, WTF??????
I actually challenged a guitar store sales person yesterday on their prices, citing the current US and Euro price compared to their floor price and ending with a massive WTF is up with you people, and he blanked me with some B.S. about "oh, some importers aren't passing on the exchange rate goodness"....
Right, so from now on I'll use online American & Euro traders since they are opening up the trade options and tax breaks for foreign retailers in Australia.
Ok, rant over.....
My advice to Australian shoppers: challenge your retailers on their non-par prices, or go one better and SHOP ONLINE!!!!!

I just found this thread! Crack up! I must have been one of the first in the world to get my hands on one! Said no 8 off of the production line serial no!
Happy days! Just need to get some decent glass.. The Lumix glass is plastic fantastic crap! cant wait for the Birger mount to come out so all my L series glass can come into play!
