First 24 hours Stats - for the number junkies

I was just checking out the stats and thought I would pass them along if anyone else is a numbers junkie like me :)

So, the viewing has been open about 24 hours as I type this.

So Far, we've done about 1 Terabyte worth of bandwidth on the downloads across all the mirrors, and the total number of downloads averages out to about 1400 downloads PER FILM @ 65 films.

Pretty great from where I am sitting, especially for the first day :)

wow, not too shabby. that is great. and i still haven't had time to really promote/link the fest (been a hectic day).
 
I'm waking up in Britain now, and spoke to a couple of American's on MSN..

Can't believe that half of you are still online judging, watching and commenting!

Thought It'd be quieter now and faster download speed's that you b*stard's were in bed. :p

Time to stick the popcorn on.

first time I've ever given any numbers.

TimeFest was more than this by the end. I don't remember them, but (I don't think people realize) we've had an average rate of several thousand downloads per film since we've been able to track that info (over the last few fests at least anyways).

I'm thinking that since you no longer need to be logged in to view the films and with the outside promotion our numbers should go up this time around. I don't remember what the numbers were like 24 hours in for the past ones, just that it was usually 3-4kish per film average after maybe 5 or 6 days... But, those figures are VERY soft... I don't remember them that well. Just generals.

at any rate the numbers for this fest are accurate, and looks like we're on a pace for some nice growth.
 
Very cool. So much data being transferred. Good to hear that everything is getting so man views.

Another stat I would love to know after the first round wraps is the number of ratings cast.

Even better would be the number of ratings the top film captured in comparison to the lowest rated film. Not the average score they received, but the number of times members actually gave it a rating. I'm wondering if people only vote for what they like and then move on.

I've always been curious as to how many people actually get out there and vote.

Could be good numbers this Fest.

I'm sure whoever has the biggest fan following and family of friends has the highest numbers. Jason hit it on the head, with the films being more accessible without a name or password.
