A friend is sitting in a hotel room with a pair of camera's i often use, a Ex 1 & Ex3, and they are using my settings... straight from the BBC whitepaper, he had them wiped by Sony last week before he left, and they loaded new firmware on both camera's
He says that he the camera removes knee settings as soon as he selects a cinegamma... i do not remember this being the case when i was using these camera's, but i also never re-loaded the firmware since what ever it was that allowed the SD cards to work ( 1.1?)
Is this a new thing? -or- Am i just not remembering the way it always was?
He has no in internet connection, and spotty phone connection where he is, so i'm relaying any information anyone has... i don't have another Ex to test with...
