Hi guys,
The new Nikons are rolling out, and users are getting them in their hands. I am glad to see Nikon getting into some progressive territory with video functionality, but see a couple areas they could improve with simple firmware updates.
- remap a button function to the right side of the camera to be the digital zoom focus check. I have used Canon's with the focus check on the right side, and I have used Nikons with the focus check on the left, and I can say, it make a huge difference for fast pace shooting. Big big difference. I am the big picture.
- D-lighting or dynamic range mode in video
- partner with technicolor or similar company to make a 'CINE' picture profile.
- and the less likely... 60 or 120 fps in crop mode.
