firmware update

I am having trouble updating the firmware for an HVX 200 that I inherited. I have downloaded the update, formatted the sd card in the camera and transferred the update to the sd card. When I place the sd card in either of my cameras, the update is not available to me. I switch to p2/mcr and go to operation, update is not visible.
One camera has the update already.
I need a spot of help,
thanks.

Did you uncompress on a computer with OSX 10.5 or 10.6? If so, you need to either uncompress with 10.4 or another, aftermarket app to uncompress the update, then put it on the SD card.

Thanks guys, I am uncompressing and can read it with 10.5 leopard. I drag and drop to the sd card, can look at it. When I put it into the camera (even the one that already has the update) it is not visible. My only option is to format the card. I am following the directions from the Panny site.
Formatting the card in the camera. I have a shoot tomorrow and need it and my other two cameras.
Thanks for the help.

It had absolutely nothing to do with uncompressing the file. It was the specific file to be transferred to the SD card. Ryan at EVS video was awesome. Showed me that I not only had to update my one camera to handle the larger cards but, that I needed to update the second camera to handle the "e" series cards.
Everything working smoothly now.
