GH4 Firmware Update Released

"A problem in [V-LogL] of Photo Style mode where afterimages appeared when recording video under high ISO sensitivity settings has been fixed."

It appears the ghosting was addressed.

Just updated the firmware, & glad to have access to FHD 10-Bit, but disappointed there's no VFR available in that mode.

Since the GH5 can do 60p in 10-bit I hoped it could at least do 60fps in 10-Bit.

It's silly that they haven't done it up to 60p but at least we can slow down in post.

THIS!! I said this at least a dozen times and is exactly what I was worried about... WTH Panasonic. It's not completely useless but it destroys the whole point of having 60p available in FHD.

I think the new FW is still not showing exposure info (shutter, aperture and iso) in all video modes?

Sorry, so the GH4 can now record FHD at 10bit?
Or is this thread incorrectly titled. Not trying to be a jerk here, genuinely confused.

GH5 can, there is no "GH5" Prefix implemented yet. GH5 can record FHD 10-bit but for some reason, VFR up to 60fps is not working. Only FHD 60p timebase, which seems to be a major oversight. If anyone with contacts at Panny can put a word in on this I am hoping it can be rectified soon as it defeats the entire purpose of having a FHD 10-bit mode available.

I know, when I first saw this I thought the GH4 got an update and was so happy that Panasonic hadn't forgot about us GH4 users. Unfortunate.

Sorry for the confusion. There isn't an option to select 'GH5' when starting a thread (most all threads in this section start with GH4), nor a way to correct the thread title (that I could find). I should have added GH5 at the time of the original post. And yes, was referring to GH5 re FHD.
