Hello everybody,

Warning : Don't do if you don't know how work a hexa editor or don't understand this language
you need to know what you are doing, this is for make something really strong and usefull to give the better of the NEX

They have a discountinued research on the section of GH13.

I want to talk about the Sony Nex Firmware without any censure or bad reaction.

After some research on Macos/Linux at the same time of my research of the 1.34, i find something interesting on the NEX.

NEX Firmware Step Research :

Based on the last firmware NEX (V3), the file .dat are the important part of the updater, it will be better to check all the files on Macos/Linux, you have more possibility to do some modification, the version windows of the updater have too much restriction.

The version Macos/Linux are more open to make something strong.

You can use the original updater to update your NEX with the new modification, you need to do all the modification on the .dat file... you can use a hexa editor (no everybody can understand it).

On macos : Sony update, right click, open package, all the files is here.. you can see the KEXT (driver to control the usb transition of the Sony NEX) SonyDeviceType00, if you open again the package of the KEXT, you can see the file SonyDeviceType00, you can open it with a hex editor, like hex fiend for Mac.

You can see in here how the updater work, etc...

But the more interesting, if you know what you are doing, the .dat give you the better thing of the NEX to have some mode, push up the AVHCD encoder on the NEX, the value can be change but you need to don't touch the part of the protection thing.

To do the modication on .dat file, you need to transfert on the desktop or somewhere else, after you do all what you want, you just put back on the updater package and after you just need to execute the updater Sony, this going to accept the update..

But you need to know what you are doing on the .dat file.

We don't need any dissambled bga or something else, we can use the original updater from Sony, to update the NEX , but we need to make a .dat strong

Remember, on the Linux OS or Macos they will give you more powerfull than windows...

Like i said the stuff of the version are too anoying to make something good
