GH4 firmware issue please help.........

So I put in my new 128gb sandisc card, put the .bin firemware on it and this is what I get.
I tried Deleting it and Reformatting card in camera and I still get this, even tho I dont see the file on the card.

I am going to assume that this error is happening when the sd card is in some slot of the pc and you are "moving" the AH4_V21.bin file to the sd card drive icon in windows explorer (if this is not the case, please be more detailed in what you are doing).

First, why are you moving the file instead of copying? Second, try copying some other file to see if you also get an error? If you get an error with any file being copied to the sd card, then I am guessing the card is either defective or it has the write protect tab set... Al
 
Have you tried formatting the card with your PC first and then formatting it with your GH4 ?

It's possible that something is whacky with your SDXC card.
 
Firmware updates work with 64gb cards and under. Try a smaller size card.
