firmware crash?

I was updating the firmware in my camera and the process stopped halfway through. I let the updater run all night but the progress bar hasn't moved. My HMC150 won't work now. What do I do?

Please help me. I'm worried.

No, I don't. Prior to updating I shut down every application running on my computer. I let it sit for an hour and it hadn't gotten beyond halfway. Then I let it sit for another 8 hours while I slept. Same thing. The PC button was still rapidly blinking orange (indicating that it was "working").

This morning I tried it again. I disconnected the usb cable, power, rebooted the computer and started everything fresh. Same thing. HMC-150Brick.

I dwelled on the problem all day and decided that there was nothing I could do. The Panasonic Service Center in Secaucus (which is within driving distance) said they can't help me. Now the camera is somewhere between here and Service Center in Leawood, Kansas.
