GH4 Firmware 2.5: [AF-ON] during video recording?

I saw this for firmware 2.5: "[AF-ON] function can be used during video recording."
Anyone test this to see what it does yet?

I have not tried the new firmware yet but it is also nice to see the stop signal via HDMI improved a bit. And here we thought there were no video updates in this firmware.

I've not upgraded mine yet, hopefully someone can elaborate on what "[AF-ON] function can be used during video recording."

I would love to see a final 3.0 firmware for the GH4 that has some pure video improvements. I still don't get why they can't have punch in zoom during recording. That would help a ton. If not a firmware update...hopefully GH5

pleg can you please elaborate? Does that mean you can refocus during recording by pressing the shutter half way down or that the autofocus just works better etc?

I think it will mean the following:

I've assigned [AF-ON] to fn1.
When recording video in manual focus mode and pressing fn1, it just autofocus.
And when using the Touch-screen, you can move the focus area and when you release it, it focus on that specific point/area.
This works all in manual focus mode.

I came to this feature after last update from 2.0. But maybe this was introduced in a prior version...
