Just wrapping up the install on a MxR adapter with sandisk extreme memory card, no problems.. although phase 2 is a little tough on the nerves (blacked out screen)

All installed here. Used a Sonnet card and Patriot 32gb SDHC. No issues. Now there is option for 1.5g 4:2:2 YUV through Dual Link. So can record clean S-Log via the A port and view LUTed output via SDI or HDMI.

Perfect! Just what I was waiting for and just in time so I can play with it a bit before I start a new feature next week. Happy, happy, joy, joy! :love4:

It says windows as the OS. Can I download this on my MAC and install it on the F3?

I saw that it said Windows. Meaningless. It is a standard zip file which you would just extract and copy the .bin updater file to your SxS or SD card. Don't let that worry you.

Refresh me, I just need the .bin file transfered to my SxS card to do the upgrade? Nothing else?

Just coy the .bin file. Next go to Menu->Others->Version Up and Execute. Remember not to disconnect power. And also remember that screen goes blank for 10 minutes or so during phase 2 of update.

Just to be sure I have everything connected the right way. I am recording S-Log to my PIX240 and the LUT is going to an external monitor. So I set the menu to 1.5G 422 & S-Log and select a LUT. I have the PIX connected to the HD SDI A out and the monitor to the single SDI out. Correct?
